- I have enclosed a detailed walkthrough for the game, Prince of Persia 2.
- It details where you go and where the potions are, etc.; tells you what the
- alternate routes are through the levels; gives general strategies for
- killing the various monsters; and tells you how to cheat, if you are so
- inclined.

- The way to fire a fireball is to fire!
- i.e., press 0, NOT 2!!!

- General hints:
-
- 1. You can drop loose tiles by jumping up=20
- and down near them. If you must be under=20
- them when then fall, you can avoid losing=20
- strength by crouching so that it breaks on=20
- your back.
-
- 2. Killing heads: They pause (usually)=20
- directly in front of you for just about half=20
- a second. Hit them during this pause - and=20
- repeat. Several times. It gets easy with=20
- practice...
-
- 3. Killing snakes: strike before you would=20
- think. You have quite a reach...
-
- 4. Killing shadows...to fight a shadow, you=20
- need to be a shadow.
-
- 5. Killing fighters of any sort: The best=20
- strategy seems to be to get to a point where=20
- your swords are just touching, then do=20
- 'block-strike' without pause. It protects=20
- you from his blow and seems to make you do=20
- an overhand swipe that's virtually=20
- impossible for him to deflect.

- 6. And don't forget...if the odds are=20
- impossible...you can always put your sword=20
- away and run!

- 7. POTIONS:
- There are several types of potions.
- There are Major health potions (blue;=20
- restore all of your strength bottles and=20
- give you another); Minor health potions=20
- (also blue; just fill one of your bottles,=20
- or do nothing if you're at full strength=20
- already); poisons (magenta; empty one of=20
- your strength bottles) and weird potions=20
- (green; will do very unexpected things...)

- Level 1: No major potions
-
- Kill the two men, go left to the next=20
- screen, kill 2 more guards, go to the next=20
- screen (left) and take a running jump to the=20
- next building, keep running and jump again=20
- to the next builing. Turn quickly, draw your=20
- sword, and dispatch the next three men that=20
- come from the right. Turn, and, keeping your=20
- sword drawn, advance left to the next=20
- screen. Kill two more men, put your sword=20
- away, climb a level, and go left. Take a=20
- running jump to the next building and climb=20
- down (hanging drop) the left side.
- Jump off the ledge (1 level) and run to your=20
- left - down the pier. Just as you get to the=20
- end, jump/press shift. You'll just make the=20
- departing ship...

- Level 2: No major potions
- Go left -- just to the edge of the=20
- quicksand.Floating bits will appear, then=20
- sink when you step on them. One has a=20
- pattern that matches the pattern on the=20
- wall. Step on EVERY TILE BUT THAT ONE.The=20
- wall on the far side will open...

- Level 3: 2 major potions
-
- There are a couple ways to go through this.
- The way to get the potions is as follows:
- Go right, drop three levels. To get first=20
- potion, go left, jump across the pit with=20
- the spikes, go through the door and get the=20
- potion. Trip the switch on the far side=20
- again to get back out the way you came, jump=20
- back over the spike pit. Now go right again=20
- (jump over the two arrow traps), trip the=20
- floor switch, drop down 1 level and=20
- immediately jump left when the door opens.=20
- Go right again, hitting another floor switch=20
- and dropping down another level. At this=20
- point, you can go two ways.
- A. To get the second potion, go left to the=20
- edge. Hanging-drop down (keep shift down as=20
- you fall). Get the Major potion on the=20
- ledge. Drop down again. Fight the skeleton=20
- till he lies down, then trip the floor=20
- switch and run left through the door. Keep=20
- going up and to the left. Eventually you'll=20
- come to another stone door. Go to the ledge=20
- across the gap from it, jump so that you=20
- land on the switch, and move as close as you=20
- can to the door. When it's up at about neck=20
- level, jump through and run run run to the=20
- next gap. Jump the gap with shift held down,=20
- pull yourself up and jump to get through the=20
- door before it closes... Then go through the=20
- main door out.

- B. To avoid the second potion: Go right till=20
- you get to the edge. You'll trip two floor=20
- tiles in the process, and one wil fall on a=20
- switch, keeping a door open that you want=20
- open permanently. Hanging drop down, go=20
- right to the end, up a level, left till you=20
- trip the main door switch, then back the way=20
- you came. Go through the door.

- Level 4:
-
- There's a very easy way to do this, but you=20
- get no potions. Run right to the edge.=20
- Hanging drop of of it; drink the green=20
- potion and immediately jump off the ledge --=20
- the green potion will make you float down to=20
- the bottom. Run all the way to the right, go=20
- up a level and trip the main door switch (on=20
- the right side, hard to see) then RUN RUN=20
- RUN to the left -- the skeletons will wake=20
- but don't stay to fight them. Run to the=20
- main door and go out.

- To get the potion, however...
-
- >From the beginning, go right and take a=20
- running jump off the edge. Hold shift down,=20
- but DON'T pull yourself up -- drop down=20
- three levels to the next ledge. You'll lose=20
- strength, but that's ok. Go right, up 1=20
- level, and right again. Jump right at the=20
- edge to avoid the spikes. Drink the minor=20
- potion, then hanging drop off the edge 2=20
- levels. Go right again, jump right and down=20
- to avoid the spikes. To get the potion: from=20
- here, go right. Trip the floor switch and=20
- get as close as you can to the door. When=20
- it's at neck level, jump forward, take one=20
- running step, drink the potion and hit turn=20
- as your drinking, then jump left immediately=20
- before the door shuts. If you get stuck,=20
- you're done for! Go left and hanging drop 2=20
- levels, then walk left off the edge while=20
- holding shift -- thus you'll trip the arrow=20
- trap without getting hit. Pull yourself up,=20
- got left to the edge, and hanging drop two=20
- levels. You can fight the skeleton, or you=20
- can just drop another 3 levels to the main=20
- door. Run right to the end, up one level to=20
- trip the main door switch (hidden, on the=20
- right side), jump down and RUNRUNRUN left.=20
- The skeletons will wake, but just keep=20
- running. Go through the main door.

- Level 5: Several save areas.=20
-
- 5.1:
- Go right, up and over the hump (avoid the=20
- spikes) and fight the skeleton until you=20
- either push him into the lava or else he=20
- goes back to sleep.Jump right over the lava,=20
- go up one level when you can, and run right.=20
- You'll hit an arrow trap, but oh well. Some=20
- things can't be helped. Actually, I haven't=20
- tried this, but you may be able to avoid=20
- getting hit by crouching and jumping forward=20
- (hit 2 and 6) -- the arrow will probably=20
- whizz over your head. Jump over the gap and=20
- through the two doors. Run right -- don't=20
- stop, or if you must, stop on the loose=20
- tiles so that you drop and the arrows fly=20
- over your head. Drop one level to the magic=20
- carpet. Do NOT sit on it yet. The grating=20
- above must be opened first! Instead, go=20
- right, up one level, and right again to the=20
- edge. Drop down one level, go to the edge=20
- and jump right with shift on, get the minor=20
- potion. Go to the left edge and jump left=20
- and down (two levels); Go to the right edge=20
- and jump right and down 1 level (get another=20
- minor potion); go to the left edge and jump=20
- left and down 1 level.Hanging drop 2 levels,=20
- jump right. Go right (tripping floor switch)=20
- and through the door, jump over the ditch=20
- running as you land to avoid the arrow (if=20
- you need the minor potion, jump down into=20
- the ditch, get it, and walk CAREFULLY up to=20
- the spikes. Climb up the left side and jump=20
- right over the ditch) up and over the lava=20
- bed (still going right) to the end.

- 5.2 (save here)
-
- Go up four levels, jump to the right side of=20
- the crevice and knock down the loose tile.=20
- It will land on a switch that opens the door=20
- on the left side. From here, you can just go=20
- up four levels (6 levels, if you need more=20
- minor potions -- there are two up there,=20
- once you knock down a loose tile) then go=20
- left to get to the skeleton on the bridge.=20
- See 5.3, below...You won't get the major=20
- potion this way, though. To get the major=20
- potion, jump to the left side of the=20
- crevice, walk left to a bit before the edge=20
- of the screen, and jump. There are three=20
- floor switches. The two on your level are=20
- irrelevant; but the one under the loose=20
- floor tile must not be tripped, so DON'T=20
- KNOCK DOWN THAT TILE! Go to the left edge,=20
- jump left with shift held down, and pull=20
- yourself up the other side.=20

- 5.3 The skeleton...save here!
- If you need strength, release the loose=20
- ceiling tile above by jumping up and down a=20
- few times and go up. There are two potions=20
- up there. Now, go left, tripping the floor=20
- switch. You'll end up on a shaky bridge with=20
- a nasty skeleton. There's know way to kill=20
- him, and he won't go to sleep, so you have=20
- to keep him occupied until the bridge=20
- collapses. This is tricky. The way to do it=20
- is fight your way past him, then turn around=20
- and keep him occupied - don't just run away,=20
- or he'll run back to the floor switch and=20
- close the door in front of you! So, with=20
- your foot just at the edge of the second=20
- bridge panel (looks like the 4th piece of=20
- wood), just do the block/slash move=20
- described above in the general hints. The=20
- big advantage to doing block-slashes (no=20
- delay) instead of block...slash....(delay=20
- between) is that ...your feet don't move.=20
- The bridge seems to fall sooner, however, if=20
- you move just slightly back and forth over=20
- the crack between the 2nd and 3rd=20
- tile...When it does finally go, as SOON AS=20
- the rightmost tiles start to fall, press=20
- shift and turn left - don't bother to put=20
- your swrod away. You WILL drop it. Them's=20
- the breaks. Pull yourself up, go left, and=20
- get the minor potion. Jump over arrow trap,=20
- jump over gap, and go up one level. Now.=20
- You've lost your sword, so you don't want to=20
- mess with the skeleton on the next screen,=20
- so as SOON as you've pulled youself up,=20
- start running left. Jump over the gap --=20
- you'll get hit by an arrow, but so what.=20
- Once you're on the other side, STOP RUNNING.=20
- advance SLOWLY to the next screen...trip the=20
- switch (leaving the ceiling screen OPEN),=20
- hanging drop down two level, and go sit on=20
- the carpet.

- Level 6: One major potion
-
- Go left, avoiding the switch. Go to the=20
- second tile from the edge, and jump over the=20
- last tile. You need that loose tile=20
- later...Crawl left through the tunnel, and=20
- pick up the sword on the far side. Go left=20
- to the wall, up one level, knock down the=20
- ceiling tiles and go up one more level. Kill=20
- the flying head, knock down two more ceiling=20
- tiles, and climb up 4 levels. Jump right=20
- over the gap, and carefully go right to the=20
- next screen. Now that you know where the=20
- edge is, get a running start and jump the=20
- gap. Drink the major potion, then hanging=20
- drop down...if you've left the first loose=20
- tile in place, this fall won't kill you.=20
- You're now back at the tunnel again, Crawl=20
- through it (left), go up about ten stories.=20
- At the top, go left to the edge, drop down=20
- till you can jump to the left side, then go=20
- left. Hanging drop down, go right (avoid the=20
- slicer), go right and kill the flying head,=20
- then go through one of the two doors. The=20
- next level will look a little different=20
- depending on which door you go through...

- Level 7: one major potion for each path.
-
- Right door path: Go left until you get to=20
- the tunnel. To get the major potion, go=20
- through the tunnel. Jump up and down to=20
- knock the floor tiles loose, then drop down=20
- one level. Kill the flying head, and proceed=20
- left until you get the potion. Then come=20
- back the way you came, up to the tunnel=20
- again, and back through it. Now, go up a=20
- level and through the gate (going left). Go=20
- under slicer, down 1 level and kill the=20
- head. **** Go left, up 1 level, drink minor=20
- potion, up two more levels. Run right and=20
- jump just at the edge (push shift!). Pull=20
- yourself up, get minor potion, loosen tiles=20
- and go up one more level. Go right, killing=20
- 2 snakes and going under slicer. Go down two=20
- levels, kill 2 snakes, and get minor potion=20
- if you need to; otherwise just go up one=20
- level, kill head (another minor potion=20
- there), and go up four more levels. Go left,=20
- kill the head, left again, and up and over=20
- the gate you can't open. Kill snake and take=20
- a running jump left over the gap. (It's=20
- actually easier two floors up...). Run left,=20
- go through the tunnel and back if you need a=20
- minor potion, go down two levels; take a=20
- running jump right; go right until you get=20
- to the slicer, and CRAWL UNDER IT (don't=20
- even try to go over...). Hit switch, then=20
- head left and blow this joint...

- Left door path:
-
- Drop down through loose panel; Go right,=20
- down, kill snake, left, and down, kill head,=20
- down two levels, R, up one level and drink=20
- minor potion. Loosen ceiling tile and go up=20
- one more level. Kill flying head, drink=20
- major potion, then go back down two levels.=20
- Go right, and from here the level is like=20
- the right door path as of ****.

- Level 8: one major potion
-
- 8.1 Kill snake. Go left, down two levels,=20
- and carefully drop down one more (hanging=20
- drop) and jump left over the loose tile --=20
- DO NOT drop the loose floor tile on the 3rd=20
- ledge down! Hanging drop down two levels,=20
- missing floor switch, and jump left and=20
- down. Go left through gate, drop down one=20
- level and kill the head. Go left, up one=20
- level, and jump once up and down to dislodge=20
- two loose floor tiles. Now, to get the major=20
- potion: Go down 3 levels. Head right, till=20
- you get to the closed gate. Go up 1 level=20
- and knock the panel down onto the gate=20
- switch. Do NOT go hold onto the second ledge=20
- up -- it's another switch that will close=20
- the gate again! Now, go down and right=20
- through the gate; under the slicer, crawl=20
- through the tunnel, kill the head, jump over=20
- the switch, and get the major potion. Go=20
- back the way you came, until you get through=20
- the gate. NOW go up two levels. Go to column=20
- next to the switch, and get to the right=20
- edge of it. Jump LEFT holding shift, and=20
- pull yourself up ont the second column.=20
- Climb back up to where you were...and jump=20
- to left side of gap.

- 8.2 (SAVE)
- Go left, drop one level, kill two snakes and=20
- get minor potion. Go left, kill head BEFORE=20
- going under slicer, go up one level, kill=20
- another head, then go left to the end and up=20
- into the ruins. Get sword (your father's=20
- sword!)

- 8.3 (SAVE)
- Jump left over puddle; Go left through three=20
- screens of three flying heads and head out=20
- the main door!
-
- Level 9: No major potions
-
- Go left, kill head, jump left and go 1 level=20
- down. Kill snake, go left through two=20
- screens (1 head each); Go under slicer, go=20
- to next screen, kill two heads. Now, go one=20
- screen left. Note the horse statue. You need=20
- to land on it. So, go all the way back to=20
- the right to where you killed the snake. Go=20
- up two levels and run left over the loose=20
- tiles. When you get to the next screen, stop=20
- and collect yourself! Now, run and jump, run=20
- and shift-jump over the next two sections.=20
- Pull yourself up. Shift-jump left again.=20
- Pull yourself up. Get to the left edge, and=20
- jump. STOP. Now, running jump left one last=20
- time to land on the horse's back!

- Level 10: 1 major potion
-
- Run right; kill two birdmen, go up one=20
- level, and get minor potion. Jump across gap=20
- to statues and dislodge the loose tile to=20
- kill the guard below. Drop down to his level=20
- and go left. Now, to get the major potion=20
- (if you want to avoid this, just hanging=20
- drop 3 levels and go to the section marked=20
- ****) Take a running shift-jump left and=20
- pull yourself up. Walk two steps left, jump=20
- over spikes, and kill the two birdmen. Run=20
- left. A birdman will appear from the right=20
- (behind you), but will stop and stay put if=20
- you just turn to face him and draw your=20
- sword. With your sword drawn, advance left=20
- to the next screen. Kill the birdman there,=20
- then crawl under the slicer and drop down=20
- one level, and jump right over the spikes.=20
- Now. To the left, up one level (behind the=20
- statues) note that there is a closed gate.=20
- The switch is on the next screen to the=20
- right. So, kill TWO of the birdmen, but get=20
- to the right side of the third and quickly=20
- backpedal until you're backed up against the=20
- wall on the next screen. NOW kill the=20
- birdman, so that he dies on the switch. Go=20
- left, step CAREFULLY up to the spikes and go=20
- up one level, then go left to claim the=20
- major potion. Go right, back to where you=20
- killed the last birdman. Go up, right, and=20
- hanging drop down 2 levels. Kill the=20
- birdman, go right, crawl under the slicer,=20
- and go up 1 level.Jump through the gate and=20
- over the spikes. **** Kill the birdman, go=20
- right 1 screen, get potion, go right again=20
- and under slicer. Don't worry about the=20
- birdman who comes running up behind you --=20
- he'll stop before the slicer! Go right to=20
- the end, kill the birdman, and drink the=20
- minor potion. Go up two levels, and head=20
- left. The first gap is tricky because=20
- there's a slicer on the far side. So,=20
- standing shift-jump from a little ways=20
- BEFORE the edge; pull yourself up, take one=20
- small step forward and crawl under the=20
- slicer. Keep heading left until you get to=20
- the gate. Go under it, crawl under the=20
- slicer, and up one level. You will trip the=20
- switch for the main door. Walk carefully=20
- left up to the spikes. Climb up one floor,=20
- and now you're back to where you dropped the=20
- tile on the guard. So, go left, drop 3=20
- levels, and go right, killing the birdman=20
- and heading under the slicer. Now, when you=20
- get to the end, go up four levels, draw your=20
- sword and advance left. Dispatch the three=20
- birdmen and run/jump left over 2 gaps until=20
- you get to the main door.

- Level 11 One major potion
-
- 11.1 Go left, then up three levels. Left=20
- again, up one level, TWO STEPS left (to=20
- avoid the spikes), up one level. Dislodge=20
- ceiling tile by jumping 3 times, and go up=20
- one more time. Jump to the left side, then=20
- trip the switch and jump right. Go right=20
- through the gate before it close. Take a=20
- running shift-jump to the right, and climb=20
- to the higest accesible level. Go right.=20
- Now...to get major potion. Dislodge ceiling=20
- tile, quickly climb up 1 level to the gate.=20
- Jump TWICE to dislodge the ceiling tile and=20
- MAKE SURE YOU FALL TO THE RIGHT WITH IT! (It=20
- will land on a switch that will close the=20
- gate you're standing under!) Take ONE step=20
- right, jump right, and get major potion. Go=20
- up to the left one level, jump left, and go=20
- up and back through the gate. Jump to the=20
- left side of the crevice and go up three=20
- levels. The timing on this next part is=20
- tricky. See the switch just before the=20
- slicer? Trip it and run-jump-run-run-shift-
- jump left over the next gap and yourself up=20
- before the gate closes! (whew!)

- 11.2 (SAVE)
-
- Go up 4 levels, (dislodge the floor tile 3=20
- floors up) and go right to 1 tile before the=20
- edge. Now. Timing is agin critical. Without=20
- any delays between, take 2 steps forward,=20
- turn and hanging drop to the statues below.=20
- Jump left, take 1 step forward, jump again,=20
- and either jump or press left repeatedly to=20
- get out from under the gate as it closes.=20
- There's a minor potion here, but if you have=20
- all of your strength, save it...

- Run left to the next screen, kill four=20
- birdmen (you can actually avoid killing two=20
- of the by luring the first birdman that=20
- appears into the screen to the right. Kill=20
- him and his buddy, who will soon follow, and=20
- then go left and up before the other two=20
- arrive) and go up 3 levels. Get minor=20
- potion. Go right to the end, up one level,=20
- dislodge the ceiling tile, and go up one=20
- more level. Now, run right, trip the floor=20
- switch, run left and jump the gap. Pull=20
- yourself up one level, draw your sword, and=20
- advance to the next screen and under the=20
- gate before it closes. Kill the birdman.=20
- Avoid the trap door (locate by jumping up=20
- and down) and jump to the other side. Go up=20
- one level and dislodge ONLY THE LEFTMOST=20
- ceiling tile. (If you drop the right one,=20
- it'll land on the switch for the gate and=20
- you won't be able to trip it again...) Go up=20
- one level, jump left over the loose tile and=20
- crawl under the slicer. Go right, then up=20
- three levels (dislodge ceiling tile to get=20
- through ceiling), go right and jump first=20
- gap, then go down second. Jump up and down=20
- to dislodge the tile on the other side of=20
- the screen, then go up two floors, right,=20
- and hanging drop. IMMEDIATELY run right and=20
- fall through the gap in the floor before the=20
- big squisher gets you!
- Run left, jump the gap, go under the slicer,=20
- take one step forward and jump to the gap --=20
- missing the loose tile. Then go down two=20
- levels, jump right, and run through the gate=20
- (jump over the switch in front of it). Go=20
- out the door!

- Level 12: 1 major potion
-
- There are a myriad of ways to do this level.=20
- It's one of the best levels of the game.=20
-
- First, go right to trip the switch, jump=20
- left and go under the first gate. From here,=20
- the paths diverge...
-
- 12.1A If you wish to get the major potion,=20
- go up 2 levels and head the the left. When=20
- you get to the gap across from the birdman,=20
- go up one level and jump down to him. Knock=20
- him off the ledge. He'll die on an important=20
- switch down there. Jump to the right side,=20
- and jump up and down three times to knock=20
- down some tiles on the other side (where the=20
- birdman was). Those will trip another=20
- important switch. Go up a level. Jump up and=20
- down three times to shake loose another=20
- tile. Another tile, another switch. Notice=20
- that to your upper left, there are four=20
- gates in a row. Three should now be open. To=20
- trip the fourth, go up two levels and shake=20
- one last tile loose. Now, go down one level=20
- and take a running jump left across to the=20
- other side. Go under the four gates.

- 12.2 (SAVE)
- Take a running jump left. Jump left again --=20
- don't trip the loose tile because you'll=20
- need that in a second. Drink the major=20
- potion. Take a running jump-shift right,=20
- then drop down two levels and head right. Go=20
- up two levels where you killed the birdman,=20
- and head right till you get to the gap.=20
- Knock down the loose ceiling tile, then go=20
- up. Run right and, when you get to the end=20
- turn IMMEDIATELY while pressing shift and=20
- pull yourself up. Or, just jump up and down=20
- to shake the floor tile down. Go back left=20
- and down. Head left to the edge, climb up 2=20
- levels, and go right...carefully. Jump the=20
- trap door, got under the gates, and head=20
- right. The next bit's a little tricky. You=20
- have to jump exactly right. Do NOT jump to=20
- soon. Running jump across the gap but DO NOT=20
- hold shift; if you jump from the edge, you=20
- should land right under the gate on the far=20
- side. Immediately run once forward before=20
- the gate comes crashing down...

- Get all the way to the left, then running=20
- jump left. When the disembodied flaming=20
- sword attacks, get to the right side of him,=20
- put away your sword and run like hell right.=20
- Jump the gap. Again, the path diverges.

- Immediately take a running jump-shift left=20
- from about 1 tile BEFORE the edge. Pull=20
- yourself up and under the gate before it=20
- closes. Go forward and down, tripping the=20
- main door switch, and hanging drop two=20
- levels. **** Now head right, going through=20
- several screens of birdmen and slicers until=20
- you reach the end. Go up three levels, knock=20
- the ceiling tile loose, go up one level,=20
- head right to where you killed the first=20
- birdman, up two levels, right again, down=20
- two levels at the first gap and right=20
- through the gate. Run one more screen right=20
- and go out the main door.

- 12.3.2

- Go right. Jump the gap and knock the birdman=20
- off the right edge. He'll fall on a door=20
- switch and fix it open. Drop down two levels=20
- and jump right, through the gate and over=20
- spikes you can't see from this screen. Now.=20
- The third tile from the left shuts that=20
- gate. Don't step on it. The fourth tile=20
- opens the main door gate. Step on it. Now,=20
- go to the crack between the fourth and fifth=20
- tiles and jump left. Carefully walk up to=20
- the spikes, go up 1 level and through the=20
- gate. Go up another level, left, drop down 2=20
- levels, head left and follow 12.3.1 from=20
- ****.

- 12.3.3
-
- Follow 12.3.2, but if you don't manage to=20
- knock the birdman off the ledge, all is not=20
- lost. Go down to the switch he would have=20
- tripped. Trip it, jump right through the=20
- gate, and note the floor switches. Trip the=20
- second one (4th tile from the left; opens=20
- the main door). Now, go one screen right.=20

- and climb up and past the gate before it=20
- closes!

- levels, right, and down two, trip the=20
- switch, go up one level and jump right, and=20

- The studly way: Go left, under the slicer,=20
- left and jump across the gap. Kill birdmen,=20
- keep going left, keep killing birdmen until=20
- you get to the next gap. *** Jump the gap,=20
- then run left to the next screen. A birdman=20
- will appear from the right. If you can, lure=20
- him to the right and kill him right on the=20
- egde of the gap, so that he dies on the=20
- switch. If you can't do this, it=D5s not=20
- hopeless, just difficult. Trip the switch=20
- and run run run left, go up, run left and=20
- leap across the gap (holding shift) and pull=20
- yourslef up and through the gate before it=20
- closes...hint: jumping forward is faster=20
- than running forward...
- 13.1 the wimpy way
- Go left, down under the slicer, left again,=20
- and hanging drop down the gap. Jump right,=20
- dropping through the gap 2 floors, then head=20
- left until you can go up. Go up to rejoin=20
- the studly way at **** (There are several=20
- minor potions down here that you can get...)

- Go left, kill kill kill, go left again, kill=20
- kill kill (you can also put your sword away=20
- and run once you've only got guys to the=20
- right of you), run left, jump the gap, and=20
- drink the major potion. Now...go left to the=20
- flame. LET THE BIRDMAN KILL YOU. Then, when=20
- the screen says 'push space bar to=20
- continue'....don't. Wait and watch...

- Level 14: no potions, short and quick...

- Go to the right side of the tower, hanging=20
- drop (hold shift as you fall), grab the=20
- ledge and pull yourself up.

- Level 15: As many potions as you like...

- You=D5re on a chess board. If you need potions=20
- (you must have 11 to complete this level!)=20
- Go left and hanging drop down one left, then=20
- go right and down 2 levels. Kill the men.=20
- When they die, they often turn into=20
- potions..sometimes minor, sometimes major.=20
- Drink until you have 11!

- >From the chessboard, go right, jumping the 2=20
- gaps. You should be in the crystal room with=20
- 4 shadows...turn yourself into a shadow to=20
- kill them (turn left then right then left=20
- then right....over and over till your shadow=20
- separates. This will kill off strength=20
- potions, so you SHOULD have 3 left over. If=20
- you had enough potions, you should be=20
- glowing with blue flame now.) Kill three of=20
- the shadows. The fourth will disappear. Go=20
- to the top platform and pull yourself up to=20
- the next level ****, a weird level full=20
- optical illusions. Take a little time to=20
- aquaint yourself with this level....The=20
- perspective is all wrong. Now, go kill=20
- Jaffar...from where you started, go right a=20
- step, pull yourself up, go right one running=20
- step, pull yourself up, then run right,=20
- jumping the gap and jumping down one level=20
- at the end, Run left, down one level, left=20
- again (you should be chasing Jaffar by now),=20
- jump the gap. Take a walking step left. You=20
- should be where you started. Repeat the=20
- process once more. Now, you should be RIGHT=20
- BEHIND Jaffar. When he pulls himself up=20
- (where you were at point ****, above) pull=20
- yourself up right with him and press 0. This=20
- fires the fireball and torches him.

- To cheat:

- Hold down 1, 2, and 3 while starting up the game.=20
- You should see a screen saying, ' You are worthy
- of the powers of Jaffar.' Thereafter, pressing

- + or - will increase/decrease the time, respectively.
- CNTRL-T - gives you an extra potion
- CNTRL-G - allows you to select a level
- CNTRL-L - takes you up one level
- k - kills all opponents on that level
